Emergency Medical Technician- Basic
In this EMT course you will be taught life-supporting skills including patient assessment, airway management, bleeding control, bandaging wounds, childbirth assistance, cardiac emergency response, poison and burn mitigation, psychiatric communication, and transportation of patients.
Requirements
18 years of age
9th grade reading level
Up to date MMR vaccine records
Negative TB skin test within the last 3 months
Class Dates
The course begins on April 13th and ends on July 13th.
The application deadline is April 6th.
The cost per person is 1400$. A 500$ down payment is required to reserve your seat in the class. The course size is limited, and spots will be given on a first-come first-serve basis.
Class days are Tuesdays and Thursdays 1700-2200 and Saturdays 0800-1600.
